Gumdrop Books™ is proud to present Revved about Reading™, a fantastic new literacy event designed to surround students with exciting books and to support the important role of school libraries and classroom collections in developing literacy. This literacy event has a purpose—to put books into the hands of your students and reward them for reading. Additionally, it benefits your school in the form of books for the library and classrooms. Below is an example of the enormous impact of hosting a Revved about Reading™ event at your school!
Partner with Gumdrop Books™
and help put books into the hands of your students. This program challenges your students to read (or be read to) 20 minutes daily over a period of one week (100 minutes total).
Every dollar earned by your students for completing the reading challenge goes back to them to select books from the Revved about Reading™ catalog for their home library. With reward books starting at 1 point, any student can earn a book.
Example: Your Revved about Reading™ event earns $2000
(400 students @ 20% participation x $25 average order)
Student Rewards
Your students earn up to 400 books valued at $2000 for their home libraries.
Every dollar earned by your students goes back to them in the
value of the books they receive.
School Rewards
Your school earns a 60% credit to purchase books
(example: $2000 event x 60% = $1200).
No minimum required!
Classroom Rewards
For every $300 an individual classroom earns, they are awarded paperback books.
Reading Level K-3: Six classrooms earn 144 books total (a $150 value)
Or
Reading Level 4-8: Six classrooms earn 30 books total (a $150 value)
This example demonstrates a potential return of $3350 in books for your school.
All books are shipped to your school for FREE.
